Re: Not too late to start pole vaulting again!

Hi guys! I'm another former high school PVer. While watching my youngest daughter learn the (new) basics, I had the wild-hair idea to lose some weight, get in shape and (finally) learn how to really pole vault. Wouldn't it be a hoot to beat my PR of 11'6" at age 60???? I'm only one month into m...

Re: Teaching Pull/Push and Turn is next

Hannah's having a great time vaulting. She tied the district record of 7'6" for 7th grade girls yesterday. Here's her final attempt at 8'0". Sooo close.

Re: Teaching Pull/Push and Turn is next

OK thanks. I already have the book. I've read through all of the presentation and justification of Petrov's technique and the myths of flexible pole "techniques". I'll look up the drills next. And I'll look for the sand pit ones too.

Any other ideas?

It's now time to learn to pull up and start turning over. Does anyone have an effective drill to help a beginner girl get thi...

Re: 1 year old ESSX pole for sale North Dallas, Texas area

Hi,

Have you sold your 10'8" ESSX pole yet? I have a 7th grade girl in Houston looking for her first pole.

I can have a friend pick it up for your $200 asking price.

Thanks,
Paul S.
