They might if you point out your concern, and have other coaches with the same opinion and concerns speak up . It's worth a shoot. We need coaches like yourself that keep their eyes open and try to manage the risks in this event for the athletes we coach. Good luck and keep it safe

I do not have the gill bag however even the bags that I have that are two part can allow the poles to get damp. I have found that to protect the poles better and to make sure that they stay dry I put my poles inside a double lined corrugated drain pipe or a thin wall plastic drain pipe with caps on ...
