Re: Vaulters running the 200 meters
I have vaulted myself and also have done some coaching. During the season i have found that running other events such as the 100/110 hurdles, high jump and sprints can really help your vaulting. they all involve speed, jumping, and having a strong take off leg. I think in post season you should comp...

the officials in the vault are great officials and it was a mistake. Unfortunatly you cant really afford to make a mistake that big at masters! When you have a vaulter jumping to tie the national best for the year, you better be sure that you are making every measurement correctly. Allison has enoug...

i hope that every can see when she vaults that her hard work and dedication is shown to motivate other people to try hard and do well. her talent should not degraded in such a disgusting way! Since her freshman year she has been nothing short of amazing, and i would hope that is what people see and ...

Beyond what anything has been said. It shows that you are from california. California and texas have some of the highest vaulters in the nation. I would have to say from my own experience in vaulting that the average for most girls in california has grown higher over the past couple of years. i woul...

if you look at a lot of her other vaults, the timing seems better....this vault inparticularly is not her best vault..or she would have made it...I think she is going to have a good shot at doing well at state..she has more hiegth clearance over bars than any girl...no one even comes close...and wit...

I would have to say that most people who are jumping on poles so close to their weight are in for some trouble. I wiegh around 110lbs. and i am jumping on all 130's Sometimes you would rather be safe then sorry. I think that being on poles that give you just enough bend to give you the little extra ...
