You can run a tape on the track and measure out her run. Place a towel where the back of the box would be and have her run high knees. S...

She is late in her plant which is causing her to be a full shoe and a half. Please post a video of her full run so the coaches can help you.

It's hard to see but I'm sure he is under at takeoff. It's really difficult to have a nice straight trail leg swing when you are under.

Re: Sand pit or landing pad Jagodins
I use sand drills as part of our warm-up. To me, they are a great way to get the timing of the plant while reinforcing a high top hand at take-off.

Remember that vaulters before fiberglass used steel poles that did not bend. They cleared 15 feet on those pole. Good luck.

Re: Repairing Top Mat Cover
Rubber cement and strips of vinyl. Coat the pit cover and the strips. Let dry completely and stick together. That's what gill sells as a repair kit. Any boat supply store or boat cover shop should have strips you can get for cheap.
Good luck.
Good luck.

I say to my vaulters, if it feels difficult during your vault, something is wrong. It should feel effortless when done correctly.
Good luck.

Re: Vaulter Regression
Looks to me that she is a bit late on her plant which is causing her to stride out on her last step. Work with her off the runway on getting her plant up on the second to last left step.
As for the swing, high bar or rings is the only way fix that.
Good luck.
