Mobile Senior Pole Vaulter Killed

I talked to my coach about her, and she was vaulting on a 14' 150lbs just last week; she was in a car accident because of the dense fog we had in Mobile this past weekend.

Money making during the off season

If you want a way to earn money and cross-train during the off season, become a soccer referee. It is good pay, and you run around enough to equate one day's ref-ing to one practice (Assuming you referee at least 2 adult or 3 kids games) Contact your local soccer association for more information. when you are told 'so-and-so would have been so much better than you if they hadn't had to move and leave school' by your own teammate when you are vaulting 2feet higher than that 'better' person while they are still at your school

I vaulted with him in 01 at regionals for Jr. Olympics, he was a great guy. Even passed out a bunch of signed postcards to all the vaulters. He was the only vaulter I ever talked to at a competition. I'm sure he's still your biggest fan and now he watches you even more.

Finally able to vault again!

After over a year of uncertainty, I was finally cleared today to compete in the pole vault. :D Today is a GREAT day. I have the notorious bad back all vaulters have, doubled, :crying: but the doc said that there is no reason to stop me from vaulting! :D I am so happy. I was vaulting on a national (w...
