i'm 17, almost 18. I dont think I had a growth spurt or anything during that weight gain. I'm pretty sure the 20lb. gain was muscle, thanks for the advice. Toning, not bulking
I gained about 20 lbs. last year's pole vault season. Do any of you have tips on toning, and getting stronger, but not putting on too much weight? Thanks!

Bubka's, wipers, leg lifts, muscle-ups, pullovers, kips, knee-ups, etc...
Any more?
How do you do each of them? I think the leg lifts are the lay on the ground and go inverted onto your shoulders... but besides that i'm clueless.

thanks souleman, I'll try. I am almost positive that there is no club around my area (South-East Idaho), because the state doesn't care about track. Off-season Training
The rules here are that in the off season, you can't train with your coach. I was just wondering what workouts you guys do on the off season to further prepare you for the track season. Any help would be great.

Kicking my legs like none other!
The subject pretty much entails my needing of help. When I go up, i kick my legs. anyone have some tips, etc. to help me relieve this problem? I try concentrating on keeping them together, but it doesn't work, i just kick kick kick away!
