Re: PA camps?

Westminster is hosting two camps, one from July 15-18, and the other, for commuters only, is from July 19-22. I will be much more personal than some of the bigger camps, and it is taught by Bradi Rhoades, a former Slippery Rock vaulter who jumped 16'3". It's $350 for over-nighters and $275 for ...

I used to have one, untill I broke it dirtbiking. It was from a company called oregon scientific. It was about $100 bucks and took pretty good video if you had a memory card. There's also a cheaper one out that's similar called the Tony Hawk action cam or something.

My new drill area

Right at the end of the summer me and my dad built this. It's a swingset crossbar lashed to two trees (Boy Scouts came in handy for once). Form that I hung a trapeze and a hanging stubby. I also keep my stubby and weighted stubby up there two. The final touches were some soft mulch and a tiki torch ...

If you're leaning forward when you run, then your hips are tilted forward as well. To help straighten out and run tall, you need to "tuck your hips" as Coach Attig would say. Think of it like this. If your pelvis is a bucket full of water and you are standing up normally, it will be tilti...

If you have the poles you should try to go up in weight before you go up in length, then when you do up the length drop the weight back down.

I always thought the only difference was that they make the "girls" poles in smaller sizes and that they're thinner? For smaller hands? That's what I was always told. I've used mystics before and so do 2 of the guys on my team. I could never tell any difference.

It looks to me like you're bending your trail leg to get rotated faster, and that you're stopping when you see the bar. I think if you moved the standards back as far as allowed and put a bungee way up high and just work on finishing the vault you can go a lot higher. You have the potential to go hi...

I would have posted the whole run, but the first one, that's all of the clip, my mom missed the run up, and the second jump you can't see the run.

Critique please? Finally beginning to invert a little

This video is from last night at the WPIAL finals. I finally am starting to invert a little bit, but I think it could be a lot sooner, and less sloppy. The first is 11'9" and the second is 12'9" a PR for me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSnnPcaLNxE 14' 150lb pacer III I weigh 146lbs stan...

OMG perfect example right here of what I was wondering. on the second jump in that vid, you didnt throw your pole back--but you yourself ran and caught it. ^is that legal, or is it considered "interference" with the natural drop of the pole? ive heard both ways, but itd be good to know fo...

I'm about an elbow and a thumb or two. I've heard that the best width is shoulder width, because that is the highest you can possibly reach your hands. The problem comes when you need a little help bending a stiffer pole.
