did anyone notice that at the last second before plant he slides his bottom hand to his top... this is a case for the top hand being most important when you vault, but I believe this is also the reason the he has no control on the top of his vault... it is really hard to have a top with a closed gri...

I am sure that most vaulters know by now that pole vault poles are typically made from E-Glass, S-Glass, Carbon fiber, or a combination of the three choices... Knowing that in quality Carbon fiber is prefered, but not by all vaulters because of its characteristics; then S-Glass is prefered, and last...

I agree that people vault differently and have different styles with equal results, but if you have a plant where your bottom is collapsing like in the pics you are not putting all available energy into the pole and a lot of that energy is wasted and absorbed by the vaulters body... if the same vaul...
