Tom Gets His 19 Footer
Tom did open high. 19' high. He opened at 5.79 and made it clean on his first. He then put his poles away and called it a day. He took one warm up jump in his 2 minutes just before the bar went up to 19 and didn't even turn it up. His 19 footer was literally his first jump of the day. It was amazing.

Summertime winds at Hayward field are the most consistent tailwinds in the nation. The only place I've ever been that has better winds is Texas, but i'm not sure if they're as consistent. What happened at regionals was a complete abberation. A storm system rolled in in mid may and screwed everything...
