personally, I don't know what I look at, I think it's the sky, but I'm not sure, I'm too busy thinking of the technique that I should be using at the right time, for instance, when I'm about to start running, I'm thinking of my first step, when I get to the box, I think arm up, arm out... and so on,...

well there is a drill that you can do to prevent your top hand from pulling down, it's called hangs (at least that's what I call them) I just do them from my 4 step, some people do 6, other people are just crazy... but just hold the pole in your top hand only on top of your shoulder, of course at a ...

I started out in Pole Vault, then I went on to decathalon. I personally found the transition easy, except for the 1500. I'm 6'4" tall and 180 pounds, so I'm not a big guy, but I guess to do pole vault you have to have the power muscles, so that really helped when it came to shot and disc, and of cou...
