Re: Need help with form! Bad plant and can't get inverted
Hey, nice takeoff! I think your plant is fine for now. You're taking off outside of your top hand, which is good! You're swing is also decent too Maybe a helpful que for getting a better plant is to hit the pole before the pole hits the box with both arms, and driving your arms UP. Just make sure yo...

Hey looks really good! I can see the forwards lean over the last 2 steps, and it looks like you can go even higher soon!
What's your height and weight?

Re: Short Run jumps
Yeah, the pole was too small, but I chose that pole because of my ankle issue and I wanted to focus on the takeoff/run. But yeah, I think the pole selection and the grip on that pole can account for a lot of issues on the top end. Also, Irv IS awesome! :) Kcvault, and whoever else: please please don...

Short Run jumps
Hi everyone, I uploaded a video with a bunch of recent short run jumps (4 lefts) and I would appreciate any feedback. I've been limited to short runs jumps so far this season due to an osteochondroma/bone spur that has been causing some jolts of pain whenever I dorsoflexed a certain way. However, I ...

Re: Ankle injury- bone bruise?
Thank you so much for the replies! They are very much appreciated! Ifvault, if it were a high ankle sprain, where would the pain be? Or could the pain be in many different places? The pain I experience is specifically where the point between the tibia and the talus thanks again for the replies! Hope...

Ankle injury- bone bruise?
Hey guys, My ankle has been bothering me for about 6 months now, and I wanted to get some opinions on what the problem might be. Back in February, I had one practice where I tweaked my ankle while vaulting, but I kept vaulting because I was really frustrated and wanted to get some jumps going (bad d...

Re: PULL UPS
how do upright rows and upside down pull ups mimic the pull part of the vault? Maybe I've been vaulting wrong or something, but isn't the "pull through" part simply dropping the shoulders and punching up the hips? The arms stay straight throughout this part doesn't it? It's only after the ...

Re: 4 steps and 6 steps pop ups
hm, looks pretty good! But what're your goals when performing short run, straight pole drills? In other words, what are you trying to improving by doing these drills with a straight pole? How would it be different if you decided to used a flexible pole? One thing I see is that when you use a flexibl...

hey, what's your weight and height?
I feel like you might be overgripping just a tad bit, and may benefit from gripping down, but maybe moving up a pole?
