Unfortunately, Katy no heighted in the competition; I don't know why the newspaper wrote 14-2...the bar went up by 6 inches so it never reached 14-2...I guess they confused her personal best with what she actually jumped on that day. Merritt Van Meter won the women's competition with a first attempt...
