yeah, Pauli

Actually, I used his poles in HS cuz I was a big guy and we got to thinking. Who around here would have been using 180 and 190s. Jacob Paui! So yeah, I used his carbons in HS. His biggest stick was a 16 190. That was a lot of pole for a guy (Pauli) who probably weighed about 160 or 165 in HS. But ye...

I think the most amazing part about that vault is how flawed it is, in actuality. she looks sideways and she's not getting off the top. Oh, and are you sure it's not a 4.60 pole? Cuz it looks a bit longer than a 14-7 (realize that it IS 16')

I was actually thinking the exact same thing. It's ridiculous that he's jumping 575 based entirely on his swing and rockback. Not to sound like a know-it-all or anything, but there is a ton of room for improvement on the transition up the pole, between the rock back position and his top. If he fixed...

why not?

All I want to know is why people don't think Tommy will make it? When has he ever backed down from a challenge? Even indoor NCAAs this year was cool. I saw the results and was confused by his defeat, then I realized he lost by 10cm but was jumping at 19 ft due to his strategy. Sometimes it works, so...
