Re: Box Collar Choices
PV2020... A large 13 gallon Trash bag, Line it in the water after it rains... Let it fill up and slide it out. Do that a couple times and the water is out. We can usually drain a box in about 1.5 minutes.

Re: Box Collar Choices
The UCS collar DOES meet the standards.... It is in PRINT multiple places... They manufactured and designed it specifically after the standard was in place. So not only did they have the standard to follow, they went above and beyond according to safety standards. The "other one" aheem ahe...

*Heath, You are a stud, if you seek you will find... *Kirk, I wasn't the one looking so I wasn't searching for the URL's myself... Plus I know Kyle well enough to know he knows how to use a search engine and he can locate what he was looking for... Best luck! Keep us posted.

Re: RIP Alan Launder (altius)
As critical and overcomplicated as people can be about the pole vault, Alan made it simplistic.

Re: Lets Discuss Pits
I too have heard that RIchey Is a Great Pit. They use a nylon web and a Triangle Lock that can be replaced at the hardware store by the owner of the pit for just a few dollars. Also heard the front buns are solid foam unlike some of the cheaper pits. I jumped on and saw my first richey pit in person...

Re: Why doesn't UCS make poles for girls like it does for boys?
It is possible that a pretty fast and or tall girl could out grip a 12'1 Spirit pretty quickly Max hold is 11'7". Again I am a coach and weigh 170, but a 12'1" 200 would still do no good for me. I can see the need for a 12'7" much more efficiently than that of a 13'7" 13'-14 ft p...

Re: NFHS proposed rule changes for 2015
Totally aware of April 1st... April one or not... All of those comments have been brought up before. There will be a point and time to talk about who and how vaulters can jump. And yeah minimum opening heights would correlate to the ability to actually pole vault. A school started the mens Pole vaul...

Re: NFHS proposed rule changes for 2015
perfectly ok with the 7ft and 10ft at a varsity meet... If JV meets need to be added lower, that is fine... I believe there should still be 3 attempts and 3 competitors per school. If they are worried about running off the meet in time, schools can limit the number of teams that enter, or stick to 3...
