According to High School Track 2004, Jack Shepard say's the freshman record was set by Lindsay Reagan of Easton, PA in 2003 at 12' 3.25". If verifiable, it looks like Mandy could very well have herself a National Record. Congratulations Mandy! Since she jumped 0.25" higher, she must have known she was going after it. Record or no record it's a great jump for a freshman.

We are talking about a Freshman in College from Mt St. Mary's - not a HS girl - :o - or did I miss the boat again completely?

I could just as easily be from a different planet on this. Is she HS or college? I think Samantha had the HS Frosh record for a while, that is why I thought it might be HS. If she's in college she is no where close to a record for a frosh. Unless we say just from the state of NJ, ...or maybe the county, ... well ok... then maybe a college frosh who went to that particular HS? LOL Anyway's I wish one of my girls were at 12' 3.50" this year.

Hey, 12' 3.5" is still a great jump, just not a national record. There are thousands of girls (and guys) who would love to clear that. 12' 3" was our HS record before I broke it way back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth (1978).

Hey Guys, some insight this is.....
Mandy is a college athlete and yes it's still a good jump. And Lindsay Regan set the National Frosh HS Record last year. But there's a Fresh HS girls in OHIO that jumped 12-2.75 indoors, so Lindsay's record might go down.
