Thats a very impressive list for a state that isnt the size of texas or california. 2 guys well over 16, 3 overall over 16, 6 guys well over 15, and 10 guys overall over 15! Thats awesome, congrats to everyone.

for comparison, here is what your neighbors in Illinois did this year(the best year on record for illinois high school pole vaulting!)
Phil Hanson, Pontiac.................17-1.25i
Jake Winder, Planfield South.....16-7i
Mike Beese, Naperville North.....16-5
Tyler Pence, IVC.....................16-2
Peter Hollenbach, O'fallon........15-6
Sam Kranz, Kaneland..............15-6
Joe Noonan, Lincoln-Way East...15-3.5
Adam Hahne, Plainfield Central..15-3
Chris Manzara, Lake Park.........15-3
Jim Foreman, West Chicago......15-3
Eric Mammoser, Newton...........15-3
Spencer Hollis, Freeport............15
Aaron Mathis, Urbana...............15
Nick Ragusa, Nequa Valley........15
i combined what was on preptoptimes.com with the sectional and state results to get this list and it may be missing a couple of performances, it uset to be a huge year in illinois if there was one 16'er and very often the state leading mark would be in the mid 15's, looks like those days are gone.

I am deffinitly seeing this trend across all of the US. This year had the most 17' jumpers i think ive ever seen, and they just keep going higher!! The future of pole vaulting is coming! haha

I watched my brother competed against them in the decathlon. Anyone else got connections with the Dicesare twins?

Yes I do like UCLA and I do know that Tori Pena and Greg Woepse( he goes to my school) are both jumping at UCLA next year. I have heard of the twins but do not follow their progress.

thanks....I signed with the University of Missouri Rolla (UMR) which is a D2, and the vault squad there is very good for the size of UMR (3,000-ish people). They have 8 vaulters now and I am thier only additon to the vault, so 9 vaulters next year, and maybe 5 over 15-6 and one set the UMR record at 16-4.75, so i'm looking foreward to it.
