I hope these are for historical purposes. Jumping on a 50 year old pole that's seen a lot of life in schools sheds is really not a good idea.

Master's could use them , but they can't be labeled for any other kind of use without testing, and I doubt they would handle the load.

I collect them for show and tell, but I wouldn't try to jump on one.

Just my .02

We have a green Catapole that is about 40 years old and had it tested. It made it. Someone should come up with a DIY testing system. However you probably wouldn't want a pole exploding in your garage. :P

I'm guessing it was well taken care of. :D , and it's also newer than most that are Black or Brown'ish in color. Part of what I was speaking to is cost of testing, and shipping a pole that long.
You could easily find yourself $200+ for shipping and testing, not counting shipping it to you unless you got it locally which raises the bar to $300 or more just to take a chance on a pole that long. And, as an USATF Official I'd hate to see someone up in the air on it when it finds a weak spot. Not good for the vaulter or the bystanders.

The good new is, to date none of my old poles has exploded in the basement. :P
