I've been doing a little math in my head, and from what I can tell there should be upwards of 15 guys over 17' this year in the Pac-10!

Arizona- Opalka (17-8), Mortensen (17-6), Chappell (17-2)
Arizona State- Glenn (17-0), Dolk (16-6)
Oregon- Skipper (18-3), Woods (18-0), Moore (16-9), Derby (16-7)
Stanford- Harbeck (16-9)
University of Washington- Walker (Indoors only, 19-0), Lee (16-7), Roberts (16-5)
UCLA- Kim (18-2), Luke (17-4), Landers (17-0), Hackett (16-9)
Washington State- Byers (17-1)

I might be missing one or two from UW and/or Arizona. Then there's always the suprise guy that sneaks up on you too. If i forgot anyone or anyone is going to be redshirting outdoors, post it. I'd have to say Pac 10 is easily the toughest league in the Nation. Any disagreements? It should be a fun and very intense weekend in May down in Tuscon.

100 % agree, the pac 10 is always stacked and always will be. The most richly talented area for athletes and coaches, I'm not sure where lots of those jumpers are from, but i know most of them are mainly FROM the CA area, or just the west coast in general...... Other schools will have their good squads, but no other conference can compare. ......

All of the UW guys are from WA. I think most of the WSU guys are too. Sam Roberts could definitely jump 17' this year. He has not competed well so far, but he is a stud athlete and has been jumping great in practice. McKane Lee should go 17' as well.
