I cant say much about the devils to the North, but for us wildcats at the University of Arizona, how does 365 days of sunshine a year sound. An unlimited amount of poles to jump on (thanks to the Chappels, owners of UCS spirit), a north and south pit to jump on not to mention a brand new east/ west elevated runway and pit we just installed. Great vaulters year round, 17'11 kevin O, 17'5 chris C, 14'10 amy linen, 14'1 connie jerz, 13'1 april kubishta, 12'11 juanita b. Signed for next year is 16'5 Andrew R. and 12'10 casey L. Also talking to current 16'2 #3 in the nation indor vaulter Adam S. from NJ. Coach Boxley is taking the vault to new levels this year having all 4 of his guys already pr at least once in their 1st or second meet of the season. All vaulters are returning for next year as well.

Yeah I looked on both track sites and i figured i would have a better chance of making the team at arizona state because right now i am only jumping 11'6. What do you think of the school itself besides the track.

I am a boy and I dont plan on walking on anywhere with a jump of 11'6. I am hoping for at least 13. Up until this season I never had a coach and somewhere to train. I had one pole which i was blowing through and I am getting a new one this season which I have jumped on and I think suits me well. I plan on attending at least 1 camp.

there is a club in tucson called the pole pilots, Connie Jerz trained under their direction until outdoor season last year. she jumped 14' indoors last year. Jen and Roy do an excellent job coaching. This would be a great place for you to train if you wish to continue vaulting.

The phoenix area has a club called sky athletics which also puts on a huge camp in the summer you should check out their website. Stacey Dragila, Nick Hysong, Adam Kuel, Dason Phelps, and Brian Dachuna are some of the athletes who train under the guidance of that clubs coaches.

any other questions just ask.
