Since academics is a really big consideration when choosing a college, I was wondering if there are any schools out there that offer both a good vaulting program and a good department for a student looking to major in biology?

I don't think you'd want to rank WashU in there, Div III sports...great for bio, but if you're really wanting a good track program, I don't know if that's what you'd want...good luck getting in with that one, and paying for it

40k? yeah...tried that one...
speaking of majors...i find it rather funny...JR knows what I'm talking about...two of the pole vaulters at rolla are majoring in aerospace engineering... :-D (lol, don't know if he's one of them though)

University of Washington has both a great pole vault program for men and women, as well as being a great school for the sciences...including biology.

Troy University had a good biology program, but the vault program isn't as hot.

Here's another question: Is anyone here majoring or has majored in bio and is having/has had a good experience with it and vaulting at their school?

Well, i was accpeted in to USC, but seeing i am from the east coast, money was tight (almost 40g a yaer) . They def have a good track program, and their bio and pre-med is very good (my cousin goes there).
