hes 37... so i guess he should. he did jump 6.03 when he was 33, but it shouldnt make a difference.... he jumped 5.88 in JB this season. weird.

Jeff could set the record if he wanted to. I believe he would have to enter a meet as a masters competitor - not an open competitor. So it would have to be a meet that had a masters competition. I would love to see him at masters nationals.

i doubt that you'll see him at any masters competitions any time soon

Looks like G-Daddy Bell's 75-79 yrs old record will not stand long. I think that he will go 2.65 before 83.

Officially you no longer need to enter a competition as a master to register the result, hence Merlene Ottey setting a new W40 record in Athens 200m.
