Kirk Goodwin - 1984

Today I was at the dentist and the lady working with me found out I was a pole vaulter and told me her son used to vault as well. He was Kirk Goodwin at Abilene Christian when Billy Olsen, Brad Pursely and crew were there in 1984. He had a best of 17' 1" before he tragically died in a auto accident on the way home from school for a visit home. Small world. Be grateful for those you love. Bubba
