8th grader, Jessica Doyle of Lone Star Pole Vault, jumped 10'6 today at a meet in San Marcos!!! What a stud!! Like I said...the national record is coming!!

What y'all should have seen was that little gal put some serious height on 10'9 on her 2nd attempt, height enough for an 11'0 jump, but hit it on the way down.
Pole: 12'4 140
Weight: 120
Height: 5'2
Grip: 11'7
Run: 12 steps
Also, gotta give a shout out to my other studly 8th graders - Bailey Holmes jumped 10'0 on a sprained ankle for 2nd place! Dominique Robles jumped 8'6 for 3rd. 4th place was like 6'6.
