VAULT CAMP: Former Wharton coach Dave Watson, who competed in the pole vault for the University of Florida, has announced plans for summer vault camps. In association with the county's parks and recreation department, Watson has planned three camps: June 13-16, June 20-23 and June 27-30.

The cost of the camp is $150 for one week and $100 for any additional sessions. Practice will take place 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. each day. Campers are asked to bring their own poles but Watson has some basic poles for beginners. Space is limited in each camp. To register, call Watson at (813) 453-5172.
