Welcome Jenn Stuczynski, American record holder for the women's pole vault!
Jenn's official Nutrilite press release is coming soon! I'll post it as soon as it's available!
(Jenn qualified for the women's pole vault final for the World Championships in Osaka, Japan. The final will take place on Tuesday.)
Some details on Jenn:
Soaring high into the air, Jenn Stuczynski successfully maneuvered her way over an American record, setting the new mark of 16-feet on June 2, 2007 at the Reebok Grand Prix in New York City. Jenn is the #2 pole-vaulter of all time and continually striving to be #1.
Jenn is a natural athlete – she was a New York state high school champion in the pentathlon and the all-time leading scorer on the basketball team at Roberts Wesleyan College. Her current coach, Rick Suhr, first noticed Jenn on the basketball court and thought she was tough enough to be an excellent pole vaulter. She almost told him no when he approached her about competing, but now delights in training through tough New York winters in a dimly lit Quonset hut. She runs through a long, tacked-on tunnel before the last two steps bring her into the main hut, its windows boarded up to preserve what little warmth there is.
