Welcome Jenn Stuczynski, American record holder for the women's pole vault!

Jenn's official Nutrilite press release is coming soon! I'll post it as soon as it's available!

(Jenn qualified for the women's pole vault final for the World Championships in Osaka, Japan. The final will take place on Tuesday.)

Some details on Jenn:

Soaring high into the air, Jenn Stuczynski successfully maneuvered her way over an American record, setting the new mark of 16-feet on June 2, 2007 at the Reebok Grand Prix in New York City. Jenn is the #2 pole-vaulter of all time and continually striving to be #1.

Jenn is a natural athlete – she was a New York state high school champion in the pentathlon and the all-time leading scorer on the basketball team at Roberts Wesleyan College. Her current coach, Rick Suhr, first noticed Jenn on the basketball court and thought she was tough enough to be an excellent pole vaulter. She almost told him no when he approached her about competing, but now delights in training through tough New York winters in a dimly lit Quonset hut. She runs through a long, tacked-on tunnel before the last two steps bring her into the main hut, its windows boarded up to preserve what little warmth there is.

About Sanya Richards

Elite runner Sanya Richards is the youngest woman ever - at age 20 - to break the elusive 49-second barrier for the 400-meter. Richards was named the IAAF World Female Athlete of the Year in 2006. The same year she became the American Outdoor 400-meter record holder at 48.70 seconds.

"When people believe they can run faster, times just get faster and faster," says Richards. Truth is, she doesn't have to say much - her feet tell the story on tracks around the world.

In her 22 years, Richards has made quite a name for herself, becoming:
•Three-time U.S. Outdoor National Champion at 400m
•2004 Gold Medalist in the 4x400m relay in Athens, Greece
•Ranked first in the world (2006) by the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) at 200m and 400m
•Undefeated at 400m in 2006
•Champion at the 2005 Weltklasse meet in Zurich, running the 400m in 48.92 seconds, which was 0.38 seconds faster than the world champion at the time

"We take great pride in the fact that Sanya believes NUTRILITE offers the best supplements to insure that her extensive nutritional requirements are met," says Alexander.

About Jenn Stuczynski

Pole vaulting champion Jenn Stuczynski holds the American record for Pole Vault at 16 feet - a record she set less than three years after her very first vault.

An all-around athlete, Stuczynski came to the pole vault late but with an unprecedented natural ability, vaulting for less than a year before gaining her first US title in 2005. A softball player as a young girl, she went on to become a New York state high school champion in the pentathlon, and graduated as her Robert Wesleyan College's all-time leading scorer in basketball.

"I believe in the power of fruits and vegetables and that good nutrition is a key component of keeping my body in top condition," says Stuczynski. "And I know Nutrilite is the world's leading brand of vitamin, mineral, and dietary supplements, so I'm very happy to be associated with such a high quality product."

In her short time in pole vaulting, Stuczynski has made a big splash, by becoming:
•U.S. record-holder
•First American woman to vault as high as 16 feet
•2nd highest jump in the world, all-time record
•U.S. Outdoor National Champion, 2006 and 2007
•two-time U.S. Indoor Champion, 2005 and 2007

"We're so excited to have Jenn join us as part of Team Nutrilite. Even though she has only been involved in pole vaulting for a short time, she's obviously a natural," says Alexander. "And natural is what we're all about."
