Post Falls High graduate and top-ranked U.S. discus thrower Ian Waltz proposed to Idaho State graduate Stacy Dragila early last month, and the 2000 Olympic gold medalist in the women’s pole vault accepted, according to a story on NBC Olympics.com.
Waltz proposed to Dragila in Pocatello after she returned from competing in the Millrose Games in New York on Feb. 2.
According to the Web site, Waltz’s elaborate proposal included a homemade DVD documenting a trip to Ocean Beach in San Diego, where he carved the words “Will you marry me?â€
