Unless Mark makes the decision to move up to 5.10 poles (yes he is only on 5m poles, which is possible, but unlikely for this year).

Prediction for him by the end of the summer will be 5.82.

BTW he was on a 5m with hand hold of around 16' and effective grip of 15'4" with a flyaway of 3'5" roughly on his 5.71 jump.

Goal will be to gain about 1 inch on hand hold and continue to work on a few technical issues that we have been working on in practice for this year gaining 1-2" of height as well as moving to 1 stiffer pole by the Olympic Trials gaining another 3-4" of height and putting flyaway at around 3'8" to 3'10" and height cleared of roughly 19'1" or 5.82 to about 19'3" or 5.87.

Depending on the technical progression and looking into adding 1 additional left into his approach to gain more speed at plant in the weeks to come, if he can get on a 2nd stiffer pole the prediction should be exceed by another 2-3 inches putting him at 5.86 (19'2.75") to 5.92 (19'5") and flyaway at about 3'9" to 4'.

Just think of this Feb. 2008 just 3 months ago he was only jumping around 17' with a PR of 17'6".

Thanks Zach for posting the Videos.
