Some of the local girls are trying to raise enough interest to get a women's pole vault added to the schedule at the meets hosted by Oregon Track Club.

Becca,

Could you post something on pole vault power about the meet in Eugene on June 15th? See below. I'm hoping to generate enough interest for them to have a women's vault. I don't think me, Jennie and Jessie will be enough.

Thanks for your help.

Kate

Here is the basic information about two meets being conducted by the Oregon Track Club in June at historic Hayward Field. There is no prize money nor travel assistance available for either meet.

The meets are being held to provide additional opportunities to qualify or prepare for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials. Therefore, in order to be accepted into the meet, an athlete must have achieved a performance near the qualifying standard for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in either 2008 or 2007. Meet management reserves the right to decide which entries will be accepted.
