She had 2 close misses for her first 2 attempts. Came down on the bar. At least that's what it looked like with the crappy TV camera angle

Aww she missed her third. It looked like the best attempt of all three, looked like the most hip height. She came down on it again.

yeah, i was impressed with the first attempt. the second looked like she might get it. the third was just a really good jump. definately her best.

Too bad the tail wind quit...it looked almost like she had a little of a headwind on the record attempts.... interview afterward she said she had to back down a little on poles with the wind change..

Wind was a problem all day - the tent for shade for the vaulters took off during warm-up - wind changed - swirled - girls did a great job working though it. Lots of clutch makes - passes - first Chelsea Johnson passes after a miss and then makes 450 on 1st attempt - Kellie Suttle misses first at 450 passes then makes 455 on first - Chelsea misses and passes to take shots at team and 460! and that was fight for 3rd - April Stiener PRed and showed strong - Jillian was solid and nailed 2nd before calling it quits -Stacey was Stacey - but even beyond these - lots of good vaulting - was good to see Kellie shake it off and clear some bars on her way to third - so to place at Athens - guess - probably at least 470-475 range
