You should buy both Neo Vault DVDs. Then you'll get a good feel for it

Can't make it this year. 100th year high school anniversary celebration. That's 100 years for the high school, not for my graduating class.

It is an incredible experience. If you have the chance to go, GO! Like Becca said, buy the Neovault DVD's and you can get a good feel for it, except that there is also a golf tournament and fishing tournament as part of it. The southern boys usually win the fishing tournament... even when they get handed a broken off rod to use.
Chase was fortunate to be in Clovis when they filmed the first Neovault DVD and they featured him wearing his Spiderman costume with the old Spiderman theme song playing. That was between 11th and 12th grade, so he was the only hs guy on the DVD. It surprised us he was on it, but we thought that was pretty cool. He looks really small when we look at it now. He won the fishing tournament but stunk at golf... most of his shots along the Interstate fairways ended up in traffic.

It's one of the best pole vault experiences you'll have as a jumper. . . as long as you clear bars. The golf and fishing tournements are amazing in their own way too.

i ve jumped in the clovis street vault in 2000 and 2001, and i must say thats its awesome! the fans dont care about the heights, they just want to see people make bars...so you have to play them a little, and celebrate like crazy after clearing your opening height.
the golf and fishing is fun too, you ll meet people from all over the U.S. the foursome of myself, kevin brown, james demarco and dave lemmen won the 2001 tourney, and coach fraley still owes us our plaques!
if you see him, ask lemmen about miss clovis!

Call Fraley for info. . . it's basically the NAPVA Championships with other selected vaulters from around the country as guest spots. It's the final competition and then the points are added up at the end of the weekend for the top finishers.
