Maine's first 15'0 vaulter

David Slovenski a junior at Brunswick high school in Maine, cleared 15'0 on 12/16 at the Bowdoin Relays held at Bowdoin College. This is the first time a Maine high school boy has cleared the 15'0 barrier. I wouldn't be surprised to see him keep rising the bar.

he was at harvard on the 9th... he's a really small guy. incredible talent though. congrats to him.

something impressive coming out of maine? that isn't related to LL Bean or lobster? wow i'm happy for my state

he's got some talent on his hands... using 15' poles without putting much bend into them shows he's getting a pretty high takeoff angle for someone his size
