Are you sure your pole is really 10'6" long?

Unless you are under 5'2" tall and weigh under 100 pounds, I'm having a hard time believing you jumped that high with no coaching and that low of a grip on that small of a pole.

It sounds like you have a lot of work to do to improve your run. 10'4" is a really low grip for someone your height.

Buying poles is going to be tough because you will be going through a lot of poles as you grow and improve.

Does your school have any poles besides the 10'6" 110?

10" 4' is the legal limit for my pole, my school has a 11" 6' 120, a 11" 9' 130, a 12" 140, a 12" 6' 150 and a 14" 160, should i move up to a bigger pole?

Are you hitting the bar on the way up with the standards all the way back?

It'll be a bit of a jump from the 10'6" 110 to the 11'6" 120. If you are blowing through your pole from your 7 left run, I would move in to 6 or 5 lefts and work on improving your run until you can blow through the pole from a shorter run. When you blow through it from a shorter run, then try backing up to the longer run and using the 11'6" 120.

One of the best things you could do is run the 100 meter dash and long jump at as many meets as you can.

You should also do pole runs on the track. A lot of them. You might not have a pole vault coach, but hopefully someone at your school knows something about sprinting. Have them watch your running mechanics and tell you what you need to work on.
