Hey,

Does anyone know where I can take a good look at the petrov model? Like a website or something.

Its gonna be hard to "take a look" at a vault model with a single vault or even vaulter, when you dont really know what you are looking for. A lot of vaulters do things alike, or could look completely different, but with the same focuses and intentions in their vault, they could all follow the petrov model. Im not one to advertise for anyone, but i can say without a doubt the best way to know what the petrov model is would be to buy a copy of Beginner to Bubka 2 from this website. If you dont have to time or money to buy it, there are posts all over this site about the petrov model, use the search function in the advanced technique forum to check it out.

Models exist in the "Minds Eye". Alans book creates the best view to the model I have seen. In my 30 years of coaching I have never seen a perfect jump. But I see one everytime "In My Minds eye". Buy the book, go to a clinic, listen to a description or just look it up here.

If you cant afford the book consider getting the dvd from Sean Brown at neovault.com because it is cheaper but still presents the model you are looking for.
