Ok... here's how I got whiplash
took of a foot out flew up, back flipped and fell on my head
Not a great range of motion in my neck.
I've been seeing the athletic trainer for the past three days and icing it.
Don't like taking pain relief cuz I overdo it if I do, and it hurts worse.
What else should I do? I don't sleep well at night b/c of this.
This probably ended my season...I could have lettered :crying:
Any drills I can do that don't involved getting inverted or swinging up?
Help is appreciated

Running, planting, sand drills... all the phases BEFORE the swing.

I hate to say it but for safety's sake, you oughta take it easy till you have that full range of motion and you aren't in pain. You could do weight room work if that doesn't cause your any problems, most all vaulters could use to spend a lil more time in the weight room. Sorry for the probs :(

Update: range of motion is mostly normal :)
Still have trouble sleeping though  and have no access to the gym/weights
