Swing leg quad.

Does anyone ever have problme with their quad muscle on their jumping-swinging leg?
Ive had a problme off and on with mine but sometimes it goes away and then randomly comes back. I cant figure out what is causing it.
To start with I thought It was only from jumping or the muscle getting stretched too much when I was swinging my trail leg. Because about two weeks ago It started to hurt again while I was vaulting and then was really stiff the days after. Then I vaulted one week later and It felt fine while I was vaulting, but was just really tight and sore the next few days. Did some running work outs every other day and then vaulted yesterday. It did not bother me any while I was vaulting, But then again this morning I woke up and it was really tight and hurts to stretch (like a leg curl).
The only diffrence from last time this happend was that last time it hurt to straighten and curl my leg and only hurt while I was vaulting. Now It doesnt hurt while vaulting, but hurts all day.
