You can watch it live on wcsn.com or follow the makes and misses through the IAAF site.

I am torn... I have to work in the morning, but I might wake up at 3:30 or so and try to catch some of it.

The conditions have been very good here but very hot and stiffling during the day (very nice in the evening when the sun is down), although today it is a little overcast, so hopefuly the rain will stay away. In my estimation, this should be strongest field ever for a women's pole vault final.

I just spoke to Isinbayeva and Vitali Petrov yesterday. She is well rested and feels good. I would imagine that she will perform well. My guess is that Pyrek, Feofanova, Rogowska and Stuczynski will vie for the silver and bronze.

Either way it will be a great show.

Watching the world feed at 7pm, they showed a shot of Jenn taping up her left ankle.

Will be walking to the track in a few minutes to get a photo position.

Opening height of 4.35. Everyone makes it on their first except Boslak needs two tries and Spiegelburg goes out. They showed Silke's 3rd attempt on WCSN. She had the height but came down on it.

19:51 : Jennifer Stuczynski has entered the pole vault at 4.50m, and missed her first attempt. She seems to be reconsidering her pole selection now.

WCSN showed Feofanova and Pyrek at 4.50. Both made it easily.

19:58 : There are six clearances already at 4.50m in the women's pole vault, and four women on their second attempts at the height. One athlete is eliminated already; only defending champion Isinbayeva has yet to enter the competition.

20:01 : Stuczynski is over 4.50m. She is vaulting with a heavily-wrapped and braced left ankle.

WCSN showed the jump. Her ankle has some hardcore taping.
