Otto beats Ecker on count-back as both clear 5.70
German pole vaulter Björn Otto, a resident of the Rheinland where Carnival celebrations are on high volume this weekend, celebrated the yearly event by tinting his hair blue and also clearing a first-attempt 5.70, which won on a countback against Danny Ecker at the same height. It was a season best for Ecker.ÂÂ
