He keeps the pole moving well, a problem a ton of beginners seem to have is getting jammed right at the plant. Keep working on run mechanics and take off, that needs to be consistent and strong enough to grip about 9'6 or 10 before i would say he will start to see bend in that pole. Hes off to a good start!
And to the comment from the vaulter himself on the other post, dont ever tell yourself reasons you cant jump high! That wont help you, because i promise you it doesnt matter where you are in your developement right now, if you really love vaulting and commit yourself you will surpise yourself every day with what you are capable of, and you will keep getting much, much better. But if you have a pessemistic view, or negative view on it, its a lot harder to get better. Dont worry about what you can or cant do yet, and just have fun!! Leave it up to the coaches to worry about what to change in each jump, and just enjoy every jump you take!
