Firefox

Mozilla finally released a polished version of Firefox. I've tried it on my Windoze computer at work and it seems to work just fine, and without Internet Explorer's security flaws, at least according to Mozilla.

I think on my Macs at home I'm gonna stick to Safari, though.

I've been using Firefox 0.8 and so far 1.0 seems like a big improvement.

I switched a month ago to the prerelease 1.0 and it is most excellent.

well, do we lose our bookmarks? I'm always wary about doing that, because I don't want to lose everything. I don't believe I would, but I want to be cautious

No it just imports them like it does from Explorer the first time you install Firefox.

I am using Firefox on my sister's iMac, and it has already crashed 5 times. I think I'll stick with Safari for my iBook.

Those who don't appreciate macs are simply the un-enlightened...lol...j/k, for all you windows folks at home
Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill. - Muhammad Ali
