Sorry the message board was down for much of this morning and part of yesterday. I am not sure exactly why this is happening (my theories involve search engine robots who do not like dynamic session IDs).

I have taken some steps to reduce this from happening again. I now know how to fix this problem manually, so if it happens again I ought to be able to take care of it much quicker.

I am busy packing (I move to MO tomorrow!) so any more permanent fixes will have to wait a few days.

I thought I've heard of that new messageboard virus, could it still be that even though your server is so well protected?

No. That would have deleted all the forum files and replaced it with a message that said something like "this site has been defaced"

The reason the board was out the other day was that a database table got full from too many session IDs.

Well the whole server was down a few hours yesterday for maintenance.
