Well, they are the official supplier of equipment at most if not all Major USATF championship meets.
Did they have something this year that was new/improved? I have no personal preference as to what supplier equipment is used as long as it works.
I'm with you on that. It would be even sweeter if at an outdoor national championship (like say USATF's), the two brand new pits that are alligned side by side could somehow be separated so there's one going in each direction just in case there is a massive headwind. The athletes and judges could easily move camp and I'm sure nobody would complain.
I don't know, but I would guess that the athletes that qualify for a world championship of sorts through this meet would have a little more confidence going into those big meets had they not struggled just to make their opening height in "our" home hosted meet.
Maybe I'm just crazy and that's how these things are supposed to be run. You spend a ton of money on top quality equipment and advertisement, trying to promote our sport, then allow someone to make really bad decisions on how to use all of it?
I know Gill has no say in all of this, but they should!
