Okay for awhile now I've been blowing through my 14' 150 lb UCS, but I don't have a 14' 155 lb. My next available poles are a 14' 6" 150lb Altius and a 14' 160lb Pacer.

I'll have some videos up later in the video section, but I can't seem to get on either the 14' 160 lb pacer or the 14' 6" Altius. I'm not sure if it's just because I'm not used to the stiffness of the pole, and have not quite adapted my swing to it yet, or if I'm simply not getting enough penetration. I so far have bailed out safely to the middle of the pit, but I still haven't been able to swing through. I even kicked the pole once when trying to swing due to the lack of bend (I think?).

Anyway, where can I find the flex ratings on these poles? I know their usually etched in somewhere, but I can't seem to find it on the 14' 160lb Pacer (for some reason my school has 2 identical poles as far as length and weight goes. However, they must have a different flex rating or something, it wouldn't make any sense to buy 2 identical poles!) Also where can I find it on the Altius?

I guess these questions aren't that great actually, but I would also appreciate it if you guys had any advice on progressing through these poles. Again, I''ll post videos soon!
thanks!

edit* oh and if this information helps..
I'm 136ish lbs (this tends to fluctuate a bit) and I'm 5' 8.5". I can cap the 14' 150lb UCS and still blow through significantly to the point where I knock a 12' bar off when the standards are buried. I tried using the Pacer and Altius with about a 12' 10" grip.

Maybe it's just mental? Also, I'm sure you know how wierd high schools can be about buying things... Also, the two different brands may just naturally bend differently even at the same flex, or one is just a lot older than the other. I don't know, we'll wait for that video. For now I say just hold down a bit on the heavier pole and try to inch up.

from seeing your vaults earlier in the year i think its due to your plant. your probably not getting enough penetration because that left arm is coming across your face. try and get it nice and high. that should help your penetration on the pole, also it should raise your takeoff angle whichll help you out as well because there shouldnt be a problem getting on any of those poles if your blowing through the 150.
