Item Conditions of Acceptance
Vaulting Poles Vaulting Poles are accepted

Since when? Has anyone flown with them?

I don't know if I would trust them, but it is certainly worth looking into if they are an affordable option into Reno from where you live.

Maybe this has to do with their merger with Northwest Airlines?

80"?'

So if any of you have poles not exceeding 6'-8", then you're good to go - free of charge!

delta merged with northwest.. and northwest has previously allowed poles.

while it sucks that you have to pay a bit extra, just be glad airlines are allowing us to fly with them. think about what would happen if every airline said no. shipping poles is so expensive. so its either drive everywhere or dont bother.. and forget euruope..
