To sew it takes an industrial sewing machine. If there is anywhere near you that works on sail boat sails, they might be able to help.

You can try a place that makes tarps for semi trailers. They are made out of the same stuff as PV pit sides and bottoms and weather covers. They may be able to sew it if it is a huge rip or they will sell you a piece of the vinyl-coated material and the heavy-duty glue they use and you can fix it yourself like an old school bike inner tube. I repaired a bunch of rips in our pits caused by high winds picking it up and moving/tumbling it 100+ feet a few years ago. Good luck.

I had my pit covers repaired at a boat upholstery place in the area. Sailboat sail place is good too. Place did a fantastic job even on my angled front buns. UCS sent me free fabric too so I had the matching high quality mesh and non-mesh fabric for my repairs.
