Southwest Airlines Updates Policy

I was bored in the Tulsa airport today so I started chatting with the lady at the counter about flying with poles. Southwest has officially updated their policy. It's a good news/bad news thing...
The good news, is they have clarified their policy in their computer. It states that the fee is per container and that there is no limit to the number of poles in the container. (This is not stated on the website, but the baggage person should have access to that information)
No one should have the same problems I had last year.
The bad news is they raised the fee from $35 to $50. That is per container, each way.
So according to my notes America West is still free, SW and Alaska are $50, and NW and Continental are $80.
