Recycled Carbon

I hear carbon fibers can be removed from composites and recycled with minimal losses to their properties. I know of a fair amount of broken/unused poles that could be scrapped. Where could I take them to be recycled? Also, would you feel safe jumping on a pole made from recycled materials?

I would imagine it would be cost-prohibitive. None of the manufacturers have the ability to recycle carbon fibers themselves. Not sure if they could buy sheets of recycled carbon like they need to make poles, but usually recycled products are more expensive.

you could not use recycled for poles as th recycle would be chopped and have no strain to failure % or modulus to use in a flexable pole.
