is a 13 150 equivalent to a 14 130 gripping 2ft down? my school doesn't have a 13 150 so i tried gripping down 2ft and jumped and it felt stiff. i use it for my warm up jumps so do you think i wasn't planting or is the 14 130 going to be stiffer than a 13 150.

Relatively speaking, yes. Although bear in mind that if you're holding 12'0 on a 14'0 pole, you're gripping on the sailpiece, so there's a lot more glass there and the pole will feel very stiff. If you're holding 12'0 on a 13'0 pole, you're only a foot from the top, so you're more above the sailpiece and in the effective grip range (handle) of the pole. Poles function best when gripped within the top 18".
