New Balance PV Spikes

I have used Nike spikes since I began to vault (almost two years ago). Currently I am dealing with a lot of foot issues/injuries/inflammation, and I am wondering if I should give New Balance spikes a try.

Why? Well, I have tried the Superfeet custom and regular (green) arch support inserts. They have done some good, but nothing too significant. I have also worn nothing but New Balance running shoes (pretty much all the time) since I was eight years old (now I am almost 16) when I was first dealing with some growth plate issues.

So, what do you guys think? Have any of you used New Balance PV spikes before? If so, how do you think they compare to Nike's and would you recommend them?

Thanks!

Ummm - to my knowledge, New Balance doesnt make pole vault spikes. I checked on the New Balance website and they definitely didnt have any on there. What spikes are you talking about? Just curious.

**Edit** Someone showed me the LJ/TJ ones - so I'm assuming its those.

Rarely do diffrent brand types of shoes help with inflammation or foot issues (except new balance, but thats because they cater to wide footed runners with their extra width sizes). The best thing to do is figure out if you over or underpronate or are even flat footed. Most track spikes do not have that much ach support or motion control, so the best thing to do is go to a podiatrist and get a foot mold/scan so you can get for custom orthapedics that you can put in any shoe. Most insurance plans cover this, and wount set you back alot of money or any at all. You should buy 2, one just for your track spikes and one for your everyday shoes.

Sorry, I was talking about the LJ/TJ spikes that they make. I definitely don't have a flat foot (I have pretty high arches), and my feet are a little wide. I was just wondering if there could be anything beneficial in trying their spikes for pv since I have only worn their shoes for the last 8 years.
