I MADE MY OWN POLE AND NOW I FEEL SPECIAL

Yes, if you read the title then you already know what i'm about to talk about.

Well, now that my camps and stuff are all over for the summer season, today i was going through some serious withdrawal symptoms.
I remembered seeing some great stuff on www.pvei.com and other things my coaches have said about the wonders of PVC material.

SO....

I literally headed out to Home Depot, walked around for awhile, because i know squat about hardware.

Finally found the stuff but it was way up on a freakin scaffold.

Found a young worker and made him fetch 2 PVC pipes that were 10 feet each. After much groaning he retrieved them for me.
At the check out i paid a measly 4-5 bucks for them.

Just then a middle aged man walking by said "hey, are you going to go pole vaulting with those?" and to his suprise I said "actually that's exactly what i'm going to do with these"

Here's the link if you wanna good laugh:

The other motive for this pole is i'm making it for the kids i'm going to coach and we only need something that looks like a pole so don't worry no one really vaults on them ;)
