Good Work out?

Good Work out?

I am in high school and my personal best is 10ft. My school doesnt have a coach, so i was wondering of any good work outs you could refer to me.

Actually, at this time of year most if not all of your strength working out is over. Instead lot's of stretching, speed work and endurance conditioning is what you'll focus on. Most importantly though is your need to work on the event. Because you have no coach you'll have to do a lot of "research and do" work. A great place for that is right here. Read a thread or two on the run up and then at your next practice work on it. Likewise plant and take off threads. Get familiar with DJ's mid mark chart and learn how it works and then apply what you have learned. When your season is over then you can focus on workouts for next year (strength building). From now until June you have to figure out how to get over crossbars. By the way, welcome to the PVP forum. It's a great source for information. Later..............Mike

Get a teammate together and watch some videos. That'll help you see what you need to do and help you coach your team
